This role is pivotal in driving the development and delivery of the Origins platform, and our regulatory and compliance services as well as strong collaboration with our AI & ML engine, ensuring scalability, reliability, and innovation.

Using AI, we're revolutionising transparency and driving innovation, empowering manufacturers & brands to seamlessly centralise, streamline, and share supply chain data like never before.Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership: Oversee the architectural design and implementation of scalable cloud solutions on platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Ensure best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and security.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing engineering team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals.Project Oversight: Manage multiple engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and performance adherence.Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the engineering team and the broader organisation.Required Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 7 years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in leading distributed engineering teams.Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in cloud platforms (preferably GCP), containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern web technologies.
Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.Methodologies: Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate teams.Preferred Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the fashion industry's supply chain and sustainability challenges is hugely advantageous.Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud technologies or project management
