Procurement Cost Controller role at Airbus
We are looking for a Procurement Cost Controller for the Airbus GBS Team.
Responsibilities
* Support key Finance processes (operational planning, forecasts, closing) and provide clear, comprehensive, and accurate financial data and guidance to support decision making related to procurement NRC costs by nature: Personnel Costs, External Costs, booking, rebooking, provision requests, yearly rate, charge back; manage all monthly rebooking.
* Ensure costs by nature and cost by destination are circu larly tracked; liaise with Controlling, Accounting, and Business teams to provide accurate analysis and meaningful storylines.
* Support MFOPJ controllers and drive continuous improvement of data quality by implementing corrective actions.
* Serve as the focal point for the SAC tool team.
* Manage reporting related to procurement headcount follow-up in Europe and the Regions (actuals, deviations, perimeter change, target updates) and interface with HR procurement to ensure data accuracy.
* Volume discount Credit Note management (30/40m€): in line with the non PO process, ensure booking of all Airbus Credit Notes related to GP volume discounts not linked to POs; centralize credit notes, establish a listing for follow-up with FEXP, initiate and track validation, and act as focal point for FEXP and all Buyers in P.
Requirements
* Business Management education in Finance or related fields
* Basic knowledge of Accounting / Controlling
* Ability to manage data with agility, reliability, and speed
* Entrepreneurial mindset; deliverable-driven and able to work with short deadlines
* Strong analytical skills with ability to switch from big picture to detail
* Problem-solver; proactive in proposing improvement solutions
* Able to assess performance and sustainability on short-/mid-/long-term solutions
* Effective communication skills; quick trust-building in a remote work context and a broad network within Finance and HR
* Ethics and compliance adherence with understanding of data confidentiality (GDPR, etc.)
* English required; knowledge of French/German/Spanish a plus
* Full mastery of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
