ROLE:
Conduct market research to identify ingredient trends, sourcing opportunities, and supplier innovations within the food supplements industry.
Support product development with a strong focus on raw material sourcing, ingredient evaluation, and formulation analysis.
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring quality, compliance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
Lead supplier communication and negotiation, including requests for technical documentation, samples, and commercial proposals.
Support private label product development, coordinating with external partners from concept to approved formulation.
Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure all ingredients and formulas comply with applicable standards.
Maintain structured records related to suppliers, raw materials, formulations, and project status.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields related to nutrition, food science, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of nutrition, dietary supplements, and food science principles.
Familiarity with ingredient sourcing, formulation, and product development processes.
Basic laboratory skills for conducting experiments, tests, and quality control checks.
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
