Business Process Quality – IMS Specialist Professional Portugal
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Professional to coordinate our Integrated Management System (IMS) within the Gas Services Europe and Africa (GS EU&AF) region. This role involves ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of the IMS across various locations and operations in Portugal, supporting certification and continuous improvement efforts.
Based in Portugal, you will collaborate with teams across EQS (EHS, Quality, and Security), Sales, Project Management, and Procurement to ensure the IMS aligns with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards, meets customer requirements, and complies with local legislation. Your proactive approach will help coordinate risk management and quality objectives across the organization.
How You'll Make an Impact
- IMS Coordination: Develop, implement, and improve the IMS to address risks and meet standards and customer needs.
- Audit Program Coordination: Organize and lead internal and external audits, analyze non-conformities, and represent the company during external audits.
- Procedure Review and Compliance: Review and enhance operating procedures, standardize documentation, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Strategy, Action Plans, and Performance Reporting: Develop corrective and preventive strategies, monitor KPIs, and report on IMS performance.
- Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify and report process risks, recommend improvements, and maintain IMS certification.
- Stakeholder Liaison and Continuous Improvement: Engage with stakeholders, deliver training, and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
- Educational background in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the energy sector, with knowledge of risk management and quality standards.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification; ISO 14001 and 45001 knowledge are a plus; Risk Management certification preferred.
- Strong English skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and training delivery skills.
