Purpose of Role: Develop MG fleet business, help the dealer network generate more sales and help sales operations for MG in Portugal
Responsibilities:
•Visit dealers regularly to promote MG brand awareness within the Portuguese dealer network.
•Lead and manage corporate fleet sales activities.
•Implement and oversee customer follow-up processes.
•Develop and expand fleet sales channels.
•Identify and approach potential fleet customers.
•Coordinate with the dealer network on customer visits and follow-up.
•Collaborate with dealers to build sales plans and achieve sales targets.
•Act as the key liaison between NSC and AOV on fleet business.
•Manage and coordinate rental business activities.
•Work with logistics and other departments to support sales growth.
•Travel frequently as required by business needs.
•Define and monitor KPIs for fleet business performance.
•Ensure dealers register all fleet opportunities in Salesforce.
•Manage fleet support provided to dealers.
•Audit invoices to validate customer discounts.
•Create toolkits to monitor and control additional dealer support.
•Oversee the public procurement portal.
•Prepare and submit offers for public tenders.
•Ensure all requirements for public procurement are met.
Sales Operations
•Provide continuous support and follow-up to the dealer network.
•Monitor and report on KPI performance.
•Collaborate with key stakeholders on homologation, registration, and other sales operations processes.
•Track dealer performance and bonus eligibility in coordination with Sales & Finance leadership.
•Oversee fleet sales operations, including vehicle logistics (from port of arrival to dealers) and wholesale invoicing.
Marketing
•Ensure effective use of Salesforce across the dealer network.
•Implement and manage fleet lead generation tools.
•Monitor and control follow-up on fleet leads.
Requirements:
· Minimum 10 years of experience in fleet sales within the automotive industry, with a strong professional network and proven achievements.
· Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
· Strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
· Results-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ideally in multicultural environments.
· Proven experience in B2B sales at an international level, with significant fleet sales expertise.
· Strong analytical and reporting skills with a high level of numerical proficiency.
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
· Strong focus on fast execution, creativity in managing limited budgets, and delivering high performance.
· High flexibility regarding time, location, and approaches to problem-solving.
· Willingness and availability for frequent travel.
· Valid driving license.
