Our client, an Iberian technology and financial services company, is undergoing a strategic transformation to scale its product offering across Europe. They are seeking a Managing Director for a high-impact leadership role. In this position, you will drive the development and transformation of a business unit, evolving it from service-based solutions into a standalone software product, while leading growth and shaping strategy across the European market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Unit Leadership: Lead the Technology and Sales ISV (Independent Software Vendor) business unit across Europe, with a primary focus on Portugal and Spain, and potential expansion into the UK.
* Executive Leadership: Act as a key point of leadership, reporting directly to the CEO and helping shape the direction of the business unit.
* Product Growth & Transformation: Drive the growth and scaling of the ISV product, transforming it from a service-led model to a standalone software offering.
* Product Roadmap: Define and drive a comprehensive, long-term roadmap to scale product capabilities effectively.
* Collaboration: Partner with product and development teams in Portugal to drive execution, delivery, and ongoing product improvements.
* Sales Leadership: Support and guide pre-sales and sales teams to drive commercial success.
* Team Development: Build and expand high-performing teams to achieve European market objectives.
* Operations & Strategic Planning: Take ownership of business unit operations, proposing ideas, executing processes and strategies to drive growth and efficiency.
