About the Position
We are looking for a
Business Developer
to manage and grow our presence in
France
and the
French Overseas Territories
.
Reporting to the European Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for proactively generating leads and converting them into sales opportunities within the solar industry.
The selected candidate will work closely with internal teams and partners, supporting business development and sales activities while expanding ChemiTek's footprint in the assigned markets.
The position requires
monthly travel to France
to visit clients, distributors, and partners, as well as organization and participation in solar industry events.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify, generate, and convert leads into sales opportunities in the above markets with focus on solar cleaning companies, O&M companies and C&I and Utility Scale Asset Managers.
Research and analyze potential business partners and customers within the assigned markets
Develop customer potential by identifying key and unmet needs and translating them into business and innovation opportunities
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities
Provide pre and post sale support and training to new clients and ongoing distributors
Ensure efficient communication and information exchange between internal teams and external partners
Conduct regular international travel, particularly to France, to meet clients and attend events
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Management, Marketing or a related field
2–4 years of experience in sales or business development, with a strong customer-oriented mindset
Capability to navigate and adapt the speech to different client profiles – from the O&M technicians to the Asset Managers
Experience managing international Key Accounts
Experience in the solar industry is a strong plus
Mandatory: Native or fluent French (spoken and written)
Mandatory: Fluent Portuguese (spoken and written)
Good command of English is an advantage
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-driven, proactive, and resilient profile
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM/ERP systems
