Assembla is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our growing sales team.
This role is focused on managing and renewing an assigned base of existing customers while identifying and driving expansion opportunities within those accounts.
The Account Manager will own a renewal quota, conduct regular account health checks, and partner closely with customers to maximize value across the Assembla product portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage renewal revenue for an assigned portfolio of existing customersDrive timely, accurate renewals while protecting and growing recurring revenueConduct regular account health checks to understand customer goals, usage, and satisfactionIdentify, qualify, and develop expansion opportunities within the existing account baseBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customer stakeholdersPresent Assembla's value proposition to technical and business audiences at multiple levelsCollaborate with internal teams (Customer Success, Support, Sales, Marketing) to ensure customer success and retentionMaintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and account plans; provide regular updatesvia CRMExercise sound judgment within defined processes to determine appropriate actions for customer needs and sales opportunitiesRequired Experience & SkillsBA/BS degree or equivalent experience1–3 years of relevant sales, account management, or business development experience (software/SaaS preferred)Experience managing renewals, recurring revenue, or existing customer accounts preferredProven ability to communicate value and sell technical solutions to diverse audiencesStrong communication, negotiation, organizational, and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented mindset with a customer-first approachAn Equal Opportunity Employer - All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.By submitting your application, you acknowledge that Idera, Inc. will process and retain your resume and related personal information solely for recruitment and hiring purposes.
