At Smart Consulting, we're looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join our data organization and ensure the reliability, scalability, and excellence of our cloud-based data platform.

What it takes to be a Data Platform Engineer:
* Experience working with data pipelines in a production environment
* Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL and experience with distributed processing tools (e.g., Apache Spark)
* Proficiency troubleshooting dbt, Apache Kafka, Apache Ignite, Apache NiFi, and Apache Airflow
* Solid programming skills in Python or Scala for data engineering tasks
* Experience with AWS cloud data services
* Familiarity with Grafana or similar observability tools
* Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices in cloud environments
* Experience implementing CI/CD and testing frameworks for data pipelines and data products
* Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
* Experience providing platform support or help desk troubleshooting in technical environments
* Availability to start within 30 days
* Fluency in Portuguese and English
