Emagine is seeking an experienced Senior DBA (SQL Server) to join a strategic onsite project in Lisbon. This role is critical in ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise database environments.

Your main responsibilities:
Administer and maintain SQL Server environments (OLTP-focused).
Design and manage AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
Manage and support Azure SQL environments.
Perform performance analysis, tuning, and optimization.
Troubleshoot application-related database issues (.NET and IIS stacks).
Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of database platforms.
Maintain detailed technical documentation and operational procedures.
Support OLAP and SSIS processes when required.
Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure system stability.
You bring:
Minimum 10 years of experience in SQL Server database administration.
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server OLTP environments.
Strong experience with AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
Experience managing Azure SQL.
Proven experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Experience troubleshooting application stacks (.NET and IIS).
Knowledge of OLAP and SSIS (preferred).
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (preferred).
High level of documentation rigor and attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and sense of responsibility.
Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Availability to work onsite in Lisbon.
