Procurement Management Role
About the Job
We are seeking an experienced procurement manager to support our data centre construction project. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with our company's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet project objectives
* Manage a full range of procurement services, including sourcing, contracting, and contract management
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize procurement needs
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors
* Analyse market trends and prices to ensure best value for money
* Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and contractors
Requirements
* Technical knowledge relating to procurement, cost, supply chain, and commercial management
* Experience in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on data centre construction
* Previous experience of providing procurement and contract management support to large scale construction projects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners
