Overview
INL was created to boost nanotechnology research and its societal impact, aiming to establish a world-class research infrastructure, attract top principal investigators, and foster innovation through intellectual property, collaboration, and startup creation. It develops partnerships with industry, trains researchers, and attracts international companies to the region, supporting regional technology transfer and economic growth.
The INL is opening a position for the Head of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO). Candidates should have a proven track record in intellectual property, technology transfer, contracts, and licensing, preferably with experience in the electronics sector. The role requires leadership to expand the technology portfolio and position INL as a leading nanotechnology innovator.
Job Duties
* Manage the INL TTO
* Represent the TTO
* Implement INL Innovation Policy
* Design annual work plans and reports for the INL Innovation Board
Mandatory Qualifications
Education
Graduated in any relevant field.
Experience and Technical Skills
* 10+ years in the global innovation ecosystem
* 10+ years in RTO-Industry R&D+I agreements and management
* Experience in technology transfer, intellectual property, and fostering entrepreneurship
* Knowledge of legal constraints of private partnerships
* Strong industrial network and fluency in English
Additional Valued Skills
* PhD in Physics or related fields; MBA preferred
* Experience in research and international organizations
