Technical Project Leader
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Leader to lead our railway signaling projects.
This role involves ensuring project compliance with defined scope, schedule, cost, and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.
* Ensure project compliance with defined scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
* Lead the project technically, facilitating collaborative and agile management among team members.
* Maintain effective communication with the team, stakeholders, and clients.
* Manage resource capacity with appropriate competence for project tasks.
* Plan engineering milestones for timely delivery according to the overall project plan.
* Identify, monitor, and communicate critical path with the team.
* Supervise use of planning tools by team members.
* Manage conflicts defining the technical solution adopted with system managers and delivery managers.
* Approve design generated by engineers involved in the project.
* Conduct weekly follow-up on task compliance and progress.
* Update project progress and make decisions/resolving incidents to ensure objectives are met.
* Develop high-level plans associated with engineering: Engineering Management Plan, Migration Plan, Test Plan, Commissioning Plan.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or similar.
* Registration with Professional Order is a plus.
* 6-8 years of experience in Railway Signaling area.
* 2-3 years of experience in Technical Management roles.
* Training and certification in project management (PMI or IPMA).
* Experience with engineering applications and railway signaling design.
* Experience with Electronic Interlocking and ETCS technologies.
* Experience with IT systems and command and control centers.
* Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools.
