We’re looking to hire a Business Analyst for PEPAC to join meaningful digital transformation projects in the European Funds and Investments sector, specifically in the agriculture sector.
Agriculture benefits from European Union funds called PEPAC, supporting the sector through investment support and direct support (FEADER and FEAGA).
Our client aims to build a new system that supports the entire lifecycle management of these funds, from opening notices to application submission, analysis, decision-making, and final transmission to the paying agency. The goal is to create a multi-fund, multi-program, multi-managing entity system for PEPAC across mainland Portugal, Azores, and Madeira.
Required Competences:
* Over 3 years of experience in a consultancy environment.
* Experience gathering requirements and business processes, and communicating them effectively to clients and development teams.
* Critical thinking to reflect on and challenge requirements and processes.
* Ability to systematize, present, and discuss requirements with teams and clients.
* Experience with MYSQL (mandatory).
* Experience in functional and technical analysis.
* Follow-up with implementation and testing teams.
* Availability for a hybrid work model (3 days per week onsite in downtown Lisbon).

* Good relationship and communication skills with stakeholders.
* Forethought and risk mitigation abilities.
* Experience with Design Thinking methodology.
* Ability to identify business opportunities aligned with client projects.
