Process Engineer Role Summary
About the Job
This role is open to individuals with expertise in laser soldering of metals. You will be part of a dynamic, international team contributing to the development and maintenance of innovative technologies.
The ideal candidate should have experience in laser soldering processes for metallic materials, a degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, and proven experience in electronic or mechanical engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the industrialization of new products ensuring seamless integration into production.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Collaborate closely with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Planning teams to optimize processes.
* Design and define efficient assembly processes and required production resources.
* Create detailed technical specifications for new or adapted production lines.
* Optimize assembly line equipment to improve overall efficiency, reduce waste, and support lean manufacturing.
* Implement equipment changes or upgrades in response to product updates or innovations.
* Document existing and updated processes ensuring traceability through official change management procedures.
Requirements:
For this role you are expected to bring:
* Experience in laser soldering processes for metallic materials.
* A degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in electronic or mechanical engineering ideally in the automotive industry.
* Strong mindset for continuous improvement and process excellence.
* Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies and lean principles.
* Solid MS Office skills.
* Fluency in English both written and spoken.
