The project involves the complete migration of data from a client's legacy system to a new application platform that will support the entire business lifecycle. The main objective is to modernize the technological infrastructure, improve data quality and ensure greater operational efficiency. The Data Analyst will play a key role in ensuring a secure, controlled and well-documented data migration process, while supporting the go-live of the new application and ensuring business continuity.
Main Responsibilities:
* Migrate data securely and in a controlled manner from a legacy Oracle system to a new PostgreSQL-based platform.
* Ensure data integrity, consistency and traceability throughout the entire migration process.
* Design, develop and maintain robust and scalable ETL pipelines using SSIS, supporting both full and incremental data loads.
* Transform and adapt data to the new logical and physical data models defined for PostgreSQL.
* Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
* Identify data inconsistencies and perform data quality checks and validations.
* Support the production rollout of the new application, ensuring operational continuity and stability.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working with Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
* Practical knowledge of SSIS for ETL pipeline development.
* Strong ability to write efficient and optimized SQL queries.
* Understanding of data modelling concepts (conceptual, logical and physical).
* Basic knowledge of data analysis, including data validation and inconsistency detection.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
