Define and enforcesemantic models, including business vocabularies, canonical entities, and logical data contracts.
Maintainautomatically updated lineage graphsand align efforts withbank-wide initiatives.
Providetransparent dashboardsfor lineage, access logs, and data quality, supporting business users, auditors, and regulators.
Leadquarterly data governance reviews, focusing on data ownership and access.
Implementself-service data product templateswith embedded semantic metadata.
Introduceobservabilityfor data pipelines and lineage updates.
Collaborate with domain owners tocapture business definitionsand map them to technical entities.
Conductmetadata best practice sessionsandmentor engineerson semantic annotations.What you need to bring:Observability & Monitoring:Hands-on experience withPrometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent tools for pipeline monitoring.
Tooling & Automation:Expertise inCI/CD workflows ,dbt(or similar), and orchestration tools likeAirflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
Metadata Management:Proven ability tobuild and maintain data catalogs and lineage systemsusing tools such asDataHub, Amundsen, Collibra, or Alation.
Semantic Modeling:Skilled in designingbusiness vocabularies, canonical data models, and data contracts.
Experience withData Meshor other domain-oriented data products is a plus;
knowledge offormal verificationis highly valued.
