Role Overview:
We are looking for a
Senior Software Engineer
to join one of our R&D teams for Digital Banking, within one of the largest financial groups in Portugal, known for its strong presence in the banking sector and continuous commitment to innovation and digital transformation.
What you will do
Design and implement scalable systems with high availability and fault tolerance, ensuring the reliability and resilience of the applications.
Develop and maintain unit, functional, and integration tests to guarantee software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enable efficient and secure software delivery, contributing to the continuous improvement of architecture, performance, and development processes.
What you are like
Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field;
Strong background in object-oriented programming (.NET preferred or Java);
Experience building microservices and distributed systems;
Familiarity with EDA frameworks and event brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Event Hubs);
Proficiency with testing tools such as xUnit, JMeter, or Robot Framework;
Knowledge of security standards (JWT, OAuth2, OIDC);
Autonomous, with strong abstract thinking and problem-solving skills;
Work on challenging projects for big clients;
