Job Responsibilities
1. Platform Engineering: Design, deploy, and manage robust infrastructure solutions primarily on AWS and Nutanix, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
2. Automation & Scripting: Develop and implement REST APIs, automation workflows, and configuration management scripts to streamline infrastructure deployment and management.
3. Infrastructure Optimization: Modernize legacy systems for optimal cloud performance, maximizing resource efficiency and ensuring cost-effective operations.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with other agile cross-functional teams, including IT service delivery, data analytics, and integration teams, to build and maintain a cohesive and secure IT ecosystem.
5. Documentation & Best Practices: Document configurations, standards, and best practices to maintain consistency and compliance across the infrastructure.
Requirements
1. Experience: 3+ years as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Specialist, or DevOps engineer with significant experience in scripting and/or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Rundeck).
2. Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
3. Skills: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), knowledge of hybrid cloud services (e.g., AWS EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda, Nutanix), containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
4. Linux System Administration: Experience with Linux system administration is a plus.
5. Innovation: A proactive approach to exploring new technologies and implementing forward-thinking solutions.
