About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business development department, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.
Job Description:
* Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end business development cycles: prospecting, qualification, pitching, negotiation, and closing;
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming their trusted partner for tech talent;
* Work closely with the recruitment team to align client requirements with candidate pipelines and delivery timing;
* Prepare and present client proposals with accurate information on profiles, rates, and contractual conditions;
* Oversee ongoing outsourcing engagements, ensuring consultant performance and client satisfaction;
* Track your pipeline, forecast revenue, and report KPIs.
Requirements:
* Essential Skills:
* 5+ years of experience in IT outsourcing, staffing, or consulting in a commercial or delivery-focused role;
* Knowledge of the Portuguese and European tech talent market;
* Working with clients that hire developers, engineers, and other IT specialists for project-based or long-term engagements;
* Understand technical profiles and translate project needs into actionable requirements;
* Proactive communication style, relationship-building and negotiation skills;
* Comfortable using CRM tools and managing sales pipelines;
* Fluent in Portuguese and with advanced proficiency in English.
* Desirable Skills:
* Able to analyze complex data and develop insights to inform business decisions;
* Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations;
* Familiarity with nearshore IT solutions and the benefits they offer;
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly;
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
