We are looking for a Core Network Engineer to join our team. As a Core Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing core network solutions for our clients.
">
Responsibilities
">
">
1. Capture and understand customer requirements needed to implement core network solutions.
">
2. Clarify scope, identify assumptions, requirements, and dependencies ensuring project alignment amongst all stakeholders.
">
3. Analyze, challenge, and refine both functional and technical requirements from key business and IT/Telco stakeholders.
">
4. Work closely with Product Owners and conduct workshops with business stakeholders to clarify/refine requirements and solution details, prioritize requirements according to their needs, while identifying functional gaps, solution assumptions, and dependencies.
">
5. Perform functional and technical gap analysis of solutions to define solution functionality, specific configurations, business logic, and integrations to satisfy requirements.
">
6. Support Development and Test teams during their effort estimations, low-level design, development, and testing activities.
">
7. Participate in Pre-sales activities by preparing responses and content for the functional part of RFP/RFI clients' requests.

Requirements
">
">
8. Masters/Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
">
9. Experience producing technical/functional design documentation.
">
10. Good communication skills to conduct meetings and workshops with customers, architects, and development teams.
">
11. Fluency in written and spoken English.
">
12. Comprehensive knowledge of CORE network configuration tasks, including: Node creation and parameter tuning (e.g., MME, SGSN, PGW, SGW, AMF, SMF); Integration of new network elements and expansion of existing one; Logical and physical interface provisioning (e.g., S1, S5/S8, N2/N3, Gi/NG interfaces); Support for network transformations like EPC to 5GC migrations, VoLTE/VoNR provisioning, and IP plan re-engineering; Exposure to deployments of virtualized and/or containerized packet core either via private clouds or public clouds.

13. Understanding of Open Core initiatives and cloud-native architecture (e.g., containerized 5G Core, Kubernetes-based deployments).
">
14. Exposure to service orchestration and automation platforms (e.g., ONAP, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines for Core configurations).
">
15. Experience in network performance optimization and fault management for Core domains.
">

16. Experience as an Analyst in IT/Telco delivery projects with hands-on experience in functional analysis.

17. Knowledge and mindset of agile and scrum methodologies.

18. Knowledge of TMForum Frameworks and best practices.

19. Knowledge of Architecture best practices and design patterns.

20. Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams, and clients.

21. Teamwork skills, but also a sense of autonomy.

22. Motivation for international projects and okay if travel is included.
