Job Description
The IT function is increasing its capabilities and therefore is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you are responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the lifecycle of cloud infrastructure and services. You will ensure they are secure, healthy, efficient, and scalable, and support our physical and virtual network infrastructure.
You will report to the Internal IT Infrastructure Manager, part of the IT team whose mission is to provide effective, reliable, and maintainable infrastructure to its users.
This job is location-independent; we are open to hiring in any Unit4 location.
What you will do:
1. Design and deploy Azure Wintel & AD solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
2. Manage IaaS and PaaS cloud resources in Microsoft Azure using the Systems Management platform and Security Management Tools.
3. Maintain the Azure Active Directory / Entra ID infrastructure, including domains, forest, and replication.
4. Manage Group Policies by creating, managing, and enforcing GPOs for Windows-based systems.
5. Manage DNS, DHCP, and certificate services.
6. Develop and maintain standards to monitor operational and performance statistics for systems.
7. Develop and maintain standards and processes for patch/update deployments.
8. Collaborate globally to optimize MS components for performance and security.
9. Configure and install physical and virtual network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
10. Maintain WAN, LAN, and wireless networks, including upgrades, service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
Qualifications

* ICT-related Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience with Azure services/technologies (e.g., virtual machines, blob, queues, tables, Azure Active Directory, Virtual networks), with deep technical expertise in infrastructure design, build, deployment, networking, and storage. Familiarity with VMware and virtualization is a plus.
* 3-5+ years of experience in Windows systems engineering, automation, and management.
* Experience automating Windows systems with PowerShell or similar tools.
* Support experience in multi-platform environments (OSX, Linux, iOS, Android).
* Effective communication skills and fluency in English (verbal and written).
* Flexibility to work outside regular hours and participate in weekend on-call support.
* Microsoft Certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-800 are preferred.
