We’re hiring for the Product Design Team Leader role at Fundraise Up. Location: Portugal Remote. Language: Russian-speaking team; English B2+ required.

The Team
We are a distributed team of 120+ product professionals. Our team members are mainly based across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus. Despite our scale, we operate like a focused team - where every task matters and every voice is heard. We value thoughtful collaboration, strong engineering practices, and a product mindset. Biweekly engineering forums give space to share learnings and celebrate technical achievements. You’ll be joining a team where quality, mentorship, and mutual respect come first.
What You\'ll Do
* Organizing the work of the design team, planning tasks for sprints and setting project timelines.
* Mentoring, working with a competency matrix, and planning professional development.
* Motivating designers and fostering a strong design culture.
* Presenting and defending design decisions.
* Organizing processes and day-to-day routines in collaboration with stakeholders and other departments.
* Managing work with outstaffed resources.
* Developing user scenarios, designing interfaces, and creating layouts and prototypes.
Requirements
* Attention to detail and punctuality.
* At least 1 year of experience as a design lead in a product team.
* 6+ years of experience as a designer.
* A strong portfolio.
* English level B2.
Nice to Have
* Prior experience working in a remote-first, globally distributed team.
* Experience with performance monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
* A genuine interest in the non-profit technology sector.
* A hypothesis-driven mindset and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
