Maintenance Technician - Medical Cannabis (M/F)

Role and Responsibilities:
As the Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance team, with the mission of oversee and coordinating daily maintenance operations and ensuring timely preventive and corrective maintenance of the entire facility.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Detect, diagnose, and repair malfunctions in industrial machines, ensuring proper equipment functioning at the electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic levels.
· Install, assemble, fine-tune, repair, and maintain the components and organs of machinery in the production equipment.
· Execution of tasks and functions of preventive and corrective maintenance in machines and equipment of industrial production and cultivation, with inherent records.
· Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment, using the available means and signaling the possible improvements in machinery and other equipment.
· Act by the standards and procedures defined, regarding quality, safety and health, environment, internal regulations, and preventive maintenance and calibration plans in use.
· Inspect areas and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, compressed air, and other systems and constituents to ensure they are compliant.
· Perform maintenance of electrical systems, replacing lamps and other electrical peripherals, and clean and repair circuit breaker panels, among others.
· Ensure the maintenance of ventilation systems, refrigeration etc., and, when necessary, repair them.
· Perform maintenance of hydraulic and heating systems to ensure full functionality.
· Inspect security and alarm systems (fire, access control, CCTV, intrusion, etc.) and, when necessary, provide for their repair.
· Perform manual repairs when necessary, repairing doors, windows, locks, replacing glass, etc.
· Perform general conservation procedures (e.g., landscaping work) and other assigned tasks (painting, carpentry, etc.).
· Assist in obtaining and preparing budgets and ensuring contractors' compliance.
· Work in compliance with EHS, GMP, and GACP guidelines.
· Collaborating on the implementation of "plant empowerment" strategies to optimize plant growth, health, and yield.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· Academic education: 12th grade and courses in Mechanics, Hydraulics and Electricity.
· Prior experience: 4 years of work experience in maintenance supervision and operation.
· Training and experience in electromechanical maintenance.
· Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with the team and external stakeholders.
· Team player: Ability to work collaboratively and establish positive working relationships.
· Fluent in Portuguese and English.
