This role combinestechnical development, functional analysis, and collaboration with business teamsto deliver high-quality financial solutions.
Your Responsibilities
During the Analysis Phase
Work closely withbusiness stakeholdersto gather, understand, and analyze functional requirements.
Translatebusiness needs into robust IT solutionsin collaboration with developers and solution architects.
Produceclear and structured functional documentationto support development and testing.
Define and documenttest scenariosto ensure solutions meet both business and technical expectations.
During the Delivery Phase
Configure and implement solutions on aCore Banking platformusing a proprietary scripting language derived fromPL/SQL.
Develop and maintainautomated test scenariosusing behavior-driven testing frameworks when applicable.
Performunit testing and functional acceptance testing, combining automated and manual approaches.
Contribute actively toquality assurance, validating delivered functionality against requirements.
Required Qualifications
4–5+ years of professional experience(Senior profile).
Higher education degree(mandatory).
Experience insoftware development with different technologies.
Strong knowledge ofSQL / PL-SQLand the ability to write and understand queries (mandatory).
Knowledge ofprogramming languages(Procedural or Object-Oriented Programming).
Experience withversion control systems such as Git.
Experience withunit or integration testing(manual or automated).
Familiarity withEclipse or similar development environments.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Must have beenliving in Portugal for at least 1.5 years.
Experience mentoring or supportingjunior team membersand providing technical guidance.
Nice to Have
Experience inCore Banking or financial services systems.
Knowledge ofdatabase modellingand relational databases.
Experience withAgile environments and Scrum methodologies.
Exposure toBDD frameworks (e.G., Gherkin / Cucumber).
Knowledge ofPortuguese and/or French.

Working Model
