As a
Procurement technician
, you will play a critical role in
ensure efficient sourcing and procurement of materials, services, and construction contracts, from planning to negotiation
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for managing CAPEX and OPEX procurement activities, covering electronic materials, technical equipment, and a wide range of outsourced services;
* Fully proficient in SAP for end-to-end procurement processes, data management, and workflow execution;
* Demonstrates strong capabilities in strategic planning, demand anticipation, and alignment of procurement timelines with project needs;
* Accountable for the accurate creation, validation, and issuance of Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring compliance with internal procedures;
* Leads and coordinates RFQ processes, from specification alignment to supplier communication, bid comparison, and recommendation;
* Conducts structured sourcing activities to identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers that meet technical, commercial, and compliance requirements;
* Manages complex negotiations related to construction contracts and turnkey project deliverables, ensuring optimal cost, quality standards, and risk mitigation throughout the procurement cycle.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of
2 years of experience
in procurement, sourcing, contract negotiation, or related supply chain functions;
* Background in Engineering
or a technical field (preferred), enabling strong understanding of specifications, project requirements, and technical documentation;
* Experience in the construction sector
(highly desirable), with familiarity in managing contracts, subcontractors, and project-based procurement needs;
* Previous exposure to
cost estimation, budgeting, or quantity surveying
activities is an advantage;
* Solid knowledge of
CAPEX and OPEX procurement
processes, particularly for electronic materials, services, and construction packages;
* Proficiency with
SAP
or other ERP systems, including PR/PO creation and workflow management;
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical data, assess supplier proposals, and support cost-effective decision making;
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, capable of engaging with suppliers, project teams, and stakeholders in a structured and professional manner;
* Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to anticipate needs, manage priorities, and support multiple project timelines simultaneously.
