We're looking for a
Head of Production
to lead our manufacturing operations and help scale our impact. If you're a hands-on leader with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead and coordinate daily production to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
* Drive continuous improvement and implement Lean Manufacturing principles.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
* Manage production KPIs, quality control, and maintenance schedules.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (COO, CTO, QA, logistics, engineering).
* Train and develop a high-performance production team.
* Oversee project timelines and production flow.
What experience you'll need:
* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
* 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
ideally within a biotechnology related industry
(highly desirable).
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and biobased materials.
* Fluent in English and Portuguese.
* Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, Slack, and production systems.
