Job Title
A Regional Payroll & Analytics Specialist plays a pivotal role in providing a timely and efficient payroll function.
This position demands adaptability to market needs, a deep understanding of payroll processes, and proficiency in managing high-volume temporary staffing requirements. Strong communication skills are also essential.
* Process companies' payroll monthly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
* Maintain payroll processing systems and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
* Manage administrative processes for admissions and dismissals in entities such as Social Security, Compensation Funds, and ACT.
* Compute employee pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes.
* Address staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.
* Adhere to payroll policies and procedures, complying with relevant laws and regulations.
* Honor confidentiality of employees' records.
* Complete payroll reports for internal record and managerial review regarding payroll, vacations, overtime, and outsourcing/buy-out.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in HR, Administration, or related fields.
* Previous experience in the function (1 year minimum).
* Initiative and team spirit.
* Attention to detail and high organizational capacity, sense of responsibility, and rigor.
* Ability to handle confidential information.
* Analytical capacity skills.
* Knowledge of Portuguese Labor Law.
* Highly skilled user with spreadsheets (Excel).
* Knowledge of SAP Payroll system (preferable).
* Knowledge of GTT software (preferable).
* Ability to manage work programs and meet deadlines.
* Fluent in Portuguese.
* Fluent in English (preferable).
