/ppbAbout the role /b /ppIn this role you act as a Senior QA Engineer for a cross-functional product team, with your mindset embedded in how the team plans, builds, and deploys features.
You bdesign the test approach, automate critical flows, and use performance tests, logs, and quality metrics to guide decisions rather than only executing test cases.
/b You are involved early in discovery and design, asking the right questions, challenging risky assumptions, and making sure quality and user impact are built into each solution while working closely with developers and product as a partner to the team.
/ppbResponsibilities /b /pullibOwn quality for your product area end-to-end /b, from acceptance criteria and test strategy to monitoring production behaviour and feeding insights back into the team /lilibBuild and maintain TypeScript-based manual and automated tests /b(Playwright, Jest, etc) for critical user journeys, APIs, and backend services /liliDesign and runb performance and load tests /b(e.g. k6, JMeter) and turn insights into concrete improvements to stability and speed /liliDecide where and how to test b(API, backend, UI) /b, focusing on risk, fast feedback, and meaningful coverage /liliUse logs and observability tools (ELK, Sentry, Datadog, etc) to investigate complex issues and identify design or process gaps /liliHelp refine quality processes (definition of done, incident reviews, release practices) and advocate for safer, easier-to-evolve solutions /li /ulpbRequirements /b /pulli3+ years in software QA, including both manual and automation experience on web or SaaS products.
/lili2+ years writing automated tests in TypeScript (Playwright, Jest or similar) /lili2+ years in load and performance testing (e.g. k6, JMeter).
/liliStrong API testing and client–server architecture understanding, able to choose the most effective testing layer.
/liliHands-on experience with logs and observability systems (ELK, Sentry, Datadog or similar) and cross-service debugging.
/liliAn engineering mindset and strong ownership of outcomes, with focus on root-cause analysis and continuous improvement rather than simple bug reporting.
/liliCuriosity and constructive challenge, supported by data-driven thinking and effective use of observability.
/liliFamiliarity with AI tools in testing – big plus.
/lilibFluent Russian and English at B2/C1 level /b for daily collaboration in an international team.
