Assessing Seabird Population Status in Portuguese Waters
The main objective of this research project is to evaluate the quality status of seabird populations occurring in Portuguese waters. We aim to assess the current situation of these populations and identify potential conservation measures.
Job Description:
* Analyze available data on seabird populations, including population size, breeding success, and bycatch.
* Join monthly fieldwork sessions in Berlengas archipelago to collect data on breeding parameters and counts at sea.
* Submit the work in a peer-reviewed journal.
