The Challenge:
* Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and processing workflows using Spark.
* Collect, process, and analyze large and complex datasets from multiple sources, including databases, file systems, and APIs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and privacy.
* Monitor system performance and continuously optimize for high availability and scalability.
What you bring to the table:
* 5+ years of experience with GCP or other cloud-based data engineering services (AWS S3, Azure Data Factory).
* Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
* Hands-on experience with Big Data tools: Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Druid.
* Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
* Knowledge of data modeling, ETL tools (Talend, Apache Kafka), and distributed systems
* Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
* Solid english speaking skills.
