Our family-managed hotels & resorts seamlessly blend elements of luxury, family, design, and our philosophy of genuine hospitality comes to life purely through the combined efforts that our people put forward every day.We are looking for: Assistant Operations Manager We are seeking a highly dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support Management in the daily running of the property and the coordination of operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring service excellence across all departments, maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Management in the daily operational management of the property, ensuring consistent execution aligned with excellence standardsCoordinate and supervise the different operational departments, with a particular focus on F&BMonitor the guest experience across all touchpoints, proactively intervening to exceed expectationsEnsure compliance with operational procedures, brand standards, and service best practicesAnalyse operational and financial indicators, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actionsControl costs and optimise human and material resources, ensuring a balance between operational efficiency and service qualityAct as a liaison between departments, promoting collaboration, operational consistency, and smooth service deliveryIdeal Candidate ProfileDegree in Management, Hospitality/Tourism, or a relevant fieldMinimum of 5 years' experience in hospitality (4 or 5-star hotels)Proven experience in Food & Beverage operationsMinimum of 2 years' experience in leadership or supervisory rolesStrong organisational, planning, and team management skillsResults-oriented mindset with cost control focusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommercial awareness and strong focus on guest experienceProficiency in IT tools (Office 365) and hotel PMS systemsAdaptability, resilience, and decision-making abilityFluency in Portuguese and English is essentialWhat We OfferSalary and benefits compatible with the roleMeals provided at the workplace canteenAppropriate training and ongoing supportExciting career progression opportunitiesLocalização: Martinhal Lisbon Chiado Family Suites Since 2016, we have been creating extraordinary and lasting memories for guests from all over the world at Martinhal Chiado.
