* To strengthen our Procurement team, we are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our multidisciplinary team based in Portugal.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Procurement Activities
1. Sourcing: Search and analyze suppliers in the market, prepare quotation requests, negotiate optimal terms and conditions, and create contracts to set purchase conditions.
2. Administration: Perform administrative tasks related to procurement activities, enter and maintain data within data management systems.
You will be responsible for managing an approved supplier base, strengthening relationships with suppliers, and improving their performance.
We are looking for a highly skilled individual with the following qualifications:
* Moderate to high education level;
* At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
* Advanced English language skills;
* Proficiency in Office tools and ERP systems;
* Strong cost analysis ability;
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills;
* Interpersonal and collaborative problem-solving skills;
* Able to work according to long-term plans, oversee concrete projects, and recognize cause-and-effect relationships.
The ideal candidate should be able to travel and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
