About KWAN

What we are looking for
• +3 years of experience with C++ (preferably C+ or higher), with a focus on building robust applications;
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns;
• Experience working with high-performance and/or mission-critical systems;
• Good understanding of operating systems (Linux or Windows);
• Experience with hardware integration (e.g., POS, payment terminals, self-checkout) is a plus;
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git;
• Knowledge of networking, system communication, or protocols is valued;
• Fluency in English (minimum B2).
What is this challenge about
• Be part of a team responsible for building and evolving critical checkout solutions used daily in physical retail environments (POS and self-checkout);
• Develop and maintain core C++ applications for in-store checkout systems;
• Participate in the technical design and evolution of InStore solution architecture;
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability in high-demand environments;
• Integrate systems with payment components, physical devices, and backend retail services;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (QA, Product, DevOps);
• Identify and resolve technical issues in critical production environments with direct impact on customer experience;
• Contribute to development best practices (clean code, code reviews, testing).
