We are looking for Desktop Support Engineer in Lisboa, Portugal.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 13:00 (Part-time, 5 hours/day)
Salary: €1700/month (B2B contract)

Candidate: Should be eligible to work in Portugal.

Basic Duties (Responsibilities)
* End-User Support
* Provide technical assistance for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
* Installation & Configuration
* Install and configure operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux).
* Set up applications and authorized software packages.
* Maintenance & Upgrades
* Perform routine system updates and patches.
* Replace or upgrade faulty hardware components.
* Network & Security Support
* Assist with LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
* Ensure antivirus, security patches, and compliance policies are applied.
* User Account & Access Management
* Create, manage, and reset user accounts and passwords (e.g., in Active Directory or M365).
* Support email and collaboration tools (Outlook, Teams, etc.).
* Documentation & Reporting
* Maintain logs of support requests and resolutions (ticketing systems like ServiceNow, JIRA).
* Document common fixes and create user guides where needed.
* Onsite & Remote Support
* Provide desk-side support in offices.
* Use remote tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, RDP, Intune) to resolve issues for remote users.
Basic Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)
* Education: Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (some roles accept relevant certifications instead).
* Technical Knowledge:
* Windows 10/11 and basic macOS troubleshooting.
* Microsoft 365 / Outlook / Teams.
* Active Directory (user management, group policies).
* Basic networking (IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
* Printer and peripheral support.
* Certifications (preferred, not always mandatory):
* CompTIA A+
* Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator (MD-100/MD-101)
* ITIL Foundation (for process awareness)
* Soft Skills:
* Strong communication skills (able to guide non-technical users).
* Problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Patience and customer service mindset.
