We are looking for a Senior Compliance Controller to join an international team in the financial sector, focusing on internal control, risk, and regulatory compliance. This role will play a key part in the execution of compliance controls, continuous process improvement, and risk mitigation, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. Mission Ensure activities comply with internal policies and applicable regulatory standards Contribute to the continuous improvement of control and compliance processes Participate in risk and compliance initiatives within an international environment Ensure the reliability and quality of implemented controls Key Responsibilities Execute annual compliance control testing plans (planned and ad hoc) Perform control reviews and ensure the quality of first‐line controls Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the entire review cycle (planning, execution, reporting, and follow‐up) Identify gaps and lead remediation actions Review and enhance control checklists and frameworks Participate in non‐compliance risk assessments Contribute to reporting and management information sharing Ensure proper and up‐to‐date documentation of processes and controls Escalate risks and key issues to management Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes Profile Degree (preferably Masters) in Finance, Risk, or Compliance Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in compliance, audit, internal control, or similar areas Knowledge of banking regulations and European frameworks (e.g., MiFID, Market Abuse) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work autonomously in an international environment Fluency in English (mandatory) Conditions Hybrid work model Location Porto Working hours 9am – 6pm Base salary aligned with professional experience Fixed‐term outsourcing contract Initial project of 6 months, renewable Meal allowance 8.60/day #J-18808-Ljbffr
