The Role
The Internal Communications Specialist is a pivotal member of Blip's Communications Team, within the Internal Communications stream, and
is responsible for
executing strategic communication initiatives while leading specific internal projects. This role will have a critical impact on the team and on our ability to deliver an ambitious and impactful roadmap. It is expected to have a duration of one year, with the possibility of re-evaluation at the end of that term.
The Internal Communications Specialist bridges the tactical execution of communication initiatives with strategic oversight, ensuring internal communications are engaging, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.
Working closely with the Internal Communications Manager, the Internal Comms Specialist will take ownership of key projects while supporting the development and execution of comprehensive communication plans.
What You'll Be Doing
Internal Comms Planning & Execution
: Support the manager in developing internal communication plans and successfully implementing the initiative roadmap, always ensuring alignment with broader organizational
objectives
.
Project Leadership
: Lead and manage specific internal communication projects, from concept through execution, ensuring
timely
and high-quality deliverables.
Event Coordination
: Oversee the planning and execution of internal events
and culture moments of varying reach
ensuring they are engaging, well-branded, and effectively communicated to employees. Collaborate
closely
with suppliers across the full project lifecycle.
Branding and Design management
:
Partner closely with design to support Blip's internal branding and visual identity, ensuring consistency across all internal communications,
merch
and
events.
S
upplier and Partner management:
Oversee and manage the relationship with selected suppliers/partners (e.g. outsourced videographers, events agency, merch producers, etc), ensuring they meet the required quality,
de
adlines
and deliverables. Coordinate budget needs with the Manager.
Content Creation and Copywriting
: Produce clear, engaging, and compelling copy for various internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet posts, and email communications.
Channel Management
:
Maintain
and update internal communication channels such as Slack, email, and intranet, ensuring they are effectively
utilized
to engage employees.
Community-driven:
E
ngage with the
numerou

active Blip communities and promote communications best practices and rules of engagement to create streamlined working methods.
Stakeholder engagement:
F
oster excellent relationships with stakeholders across business functions and geographic locations. You will
participat

in the existing Group and Regions forums and promote any further synchs with your divisional and central peers.
We Hope You Have
A degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Experience
(+
4
years) in
communications, event
planning
and
branding
.
Experience in
tech
is a plus.
Strong project management and organizational skills. This includes a proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
Knowledge of and ability to manage and
optimize
internal communication channels.
Understanding of internal communications best practices.
Analytical skills that support a capacity to report internal comms initiatives
with
a data-driven
approach
.
Capacity to generate engagement and buy-in across different geographies and seniority levels.
Exposure to branding and graphic design tools is a plus.
