About the role Fyld is a Portuguese consulting company specializing in IT services. We are looking for a Linux Systems Administrator with strong experience and expertise. Responsibilities Configure and manage web servers such as Apache and Nginx. Administer database servers including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB. Configure and maintain email servers (Postfix, Exim, Dovecot). Implement security measures such as firewalls, iptables, SELinux, AppArmor. Administer firewalls and routers. Utilize automation and configuration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Qualifications Degree in Computer Engineering or similar. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator. Experience with major Linux distributions: CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat. Strong knowledge of command line (bash, shell scripting). Knowledge of protocols: SSH, DNS, HTTP/S, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP, NFS, secure FTP (SFTP/FTPS). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is valued. Fluent in Portuguese and English.
