They are currently seeking a Logistics Manager to join the team, playing a key role in the successful construction of a major data center development.
Role Overview:
The Logistics Manager will oversee the end-to-end management of logistics, procurement, and site operations to ensure the smooth delivery of materials, equipment, and resources for the data center project.
The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to optimize efficiency and ensure project deadlines are met within budget and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to the project site.
Oversee site operations, including warehousing, inventory management, and material handling.
Coordinate with procurement teams to manage supplier relationships and monitor lead times.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with construction timelines.
Work closely with transport and freight partners to optimize delivery routes and cost efficiencies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all logistics activities.
Manage stakeholder communications, including internal teams, vendors, and clients.
Identify risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in project logistics.
Requirements:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in project logistics, construction management, Site management preferably within large-scale industrial or data center projects.
Education:
Degree in Logistics, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of logistics planning, supplier management, and site coordination.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with project management software and logistics tracking systems.
Compliance Knowledge:
Understanding of construction regulations, health & safety, and environmental requirements.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify potential logistical challenges and implement solutions effectively.
Communication:
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Flexibility:
Willingness to be on-site and travel as required.
