Position: IT Business Manager

Location: Central Lisbon (Hybrid - 4 days/week on-site)

Company: A Moongy Group company based in Lisbon

Type: Full-time

Languages: Portuguese (Fluent/Native) & English (B2)

Eligibility: Candidates must already reside in Portugal



About the Role

Do you thrive at the intersection of business, tech, and people? Are you passionate about building relationships, driving recruitment, and delivering real impact in the IT sector?

This is a key position where you'll lead client engagements, manage recruitment cycles, and support your team of consultants, all while contributing to the company's growth and culture.



What We're Looking For

* 3-5 years of experience as a Business Manager, Account Manager or previous experience as Recruiter in IT Companies
* strong commercial focus
* Passion for both client-facing work and candidate engagement
* Demonstrated experience in prospecting and winning new IT clients
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and client engagement skills
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage the full recruitment cycle with autonomy
* Experience managing consultants or delivery teams is a big plus
* Fluency in Portuguese (native or equivalent)
* Fluency in English (B2 minimum)
* Availability to work 4 days onsite in central Lisbon (hybrid model)



What You'll Be Doing


Client Acquisition (Main Focus)

* Actively identify and prospect new clients in the IT sector (hunter mindset)
* Initiate and lead commercial discussions with key decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs, HR, etc.)
* Generate new business opportunities and convert them into long-term partnerships


Client Relationship Management

* Build and nurture trusted relationships with existing clients
* Act as a strategic partner by offering tailored tech recruitment and consulting solutions
* Follow up on client satisfaction and ensure service delivery


Recruitment & Talent Delivery

* Coordinate full-cycle recruitment of IT professionals
* Match qualified candidates to client needs, ensuring strong cultural and technical fit
* Liaise with consultants and hiring managers throughout the process


Consultant Management

* Support and monitor consultants on assignment
* Ensure a positive experience for both consultant and client
* Encourage engagement, motivation, and performance
