If you have strong expertise inmechanical design, HVAC, and multidisciplinary coordination, this could be your next big opportunity.Reporting To Lead Mechanical Design Engineer – PortugalKey Responsibilities Lead the design and specification of mechanical systems ensuringsafety, quality, and performance Developdetailed calculations, schematics, and drawingsusing tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks Mentor and guidejunior engineers Collaborate with cross-functional teams viaAutodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Engage with clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes Ensure compliance withASME, ISO, and local standards Participate indesign reviews, audits, and risk assessmentsAuthorities Approve and issue mechanical design documents (under supervision) Validate compliance with standards and client requirements Lead internal audits and design reviews when required Make design decisions during execution phases Escalate risks related to compliance, budget, or timelinesQualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering ( mandatory ) Master's degree ( preferred ) Certifications likeChartered Engineer / PE / PMPare a plusSkills & Competencies Strong expertise inHVAC, piping, pumps, and mechanical systems Proficiency inAutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks Knowledge ofASME, ISO standards Experience insustainable & energy-efficient design Strong problem-solving and project management skills Excellent communication skills (English)Experience 5+ years in mechanical design engineering Experience inindustrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects Strong exposure tothermal systems, HVAC, and machinery design Ability to managemultiple projects within deadlines and budgets Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers
