.Fassalusa, Portuguese company within Fassa Bortolo Group, is looking for a HR Specialist for it's São Mamede (Leiria) production facility.Reporting directly to the Group HR Director, the HR Specialist will manage and supervise processes relating to Fassalusa's personnel.
In particular, he/she will follow all human capital organisation and development activities, including selection, training, compensation and possible litigation, consistently with company guidelines.Main activities and responsibilities:Supporting local managers in day-to-day activities related to HR operations concerning the entire employee life cycle, including welfare plans, engagement activities and compensation and benefits management; Supporting Managers in the daily people management, in the on and off-boarding processes following the Parent Company's guidelines; Ensure compliance with labour regulations, HR procedures and policies and company standards.
Update or create new policies in agreement with the Parent Company's HR team; Personnel search and selection activities following the guidelines given by the Parent Company in Italy; Drafting employment letters (hiring, probationary period, changes in classification and salary, role changes, etc.
).Provide advisory to business line managers and employees answering their inquiries and providing assistance on company procedures and policies; Manage labour and Employee Relations aspects with reference to Fassalusa's personnel, including any disputes; Collaborating with the HR department of the Parent company in Italy on project-related activities with a view to improving processes/systems; Implementation of HR initiatives relating to performance management, development of training paths, compensation, salary review and retention policies, retirement staff replacement plans.Support in workplace attendance data management and pay slip processing, management of social security, insurance and tax authorities, ensuring compliance with labour regulations; Reporting activities related to Fassalusa staff; Being availableto deal on a subsidiary basis with all mandatory activities related to Health and Safety.Essential requirements:Previous experience in HR function preferably within manufacturing companies; In-depth knowledge and understanding of company dynamics related to human capital, including recruitment and selection, performance appraisals/compensation and benefits, labour litigation and employment law; Teamwork, proactivity, ability to work by priorities, interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations; Knowledge of anadditional language between English and Italian is required.Why Fassa BortoloFassa Bortolo, leader in the construction materials sector, is a dynamic and advanced company that has more than quadrupled the number of its factories since 2000, confirming itself at the top of the national market and opening new international expansion channels
