About the Role
We seek a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team working with international clients across Europe. This role can be performed remotely or from our office.
As an Oracle DBA, you will design, implement, and maintain Oracle database platforms. You will drive automation, resilience, and observability while ensuring system reliability and security for critical workloads in sectors like public transportation and energy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and manage Oracle databases (RAC, ASM, Dataguard)
* Automate database operations using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
* Manage security and vulnerability compliance with Qualys, driving proactive risk mitigation
* Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams in hybrid and cloud-native environments
* Sustain lifecycle management (LCM), upgrades, and patching processes in mission-critical setups
* Contribute to modernization initiatives enabling automation and AI-driven operations
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as an Oracle DBA
* Solid hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Dataguard environments
* Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
* Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (Qualys or similar)
* Understanding of database security, compliance, upgrades, and patching practices
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, Git), and cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
* Oracle Certified Professional certification is a plus
* Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
