Business Development Manager - IT Outsourcing
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our IT outsourcing efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and approaching potential clients across Portugal and Europe with IT delivery needs.
Your primary objective will be to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming their trusted partner for tech talent. You will work closely with our recruitment team to align client requirements with candidate pipelines and delivery timing.
* Fundamental Responsibilities:
* Prospecting and qualifying potential clients;
* Pitching and negotiating services with clients;
* Preparing and presenting client proposals;
* Overseeing ongoing outsourcing engagements.
About the Role
This role goes beyond sales – it's about building lasting partnerships with tech-driven organizations. You'll understand their challenges and solutions through nearshoring, team extension, and embedded tech talent.
You'll work closely with our Technical recruitment team and play a role in managing client accounts from first contact to ongoing delivery.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 5+ years of experience in IT outsourcing, staffing, or consulting in a commercial or delivery-focused role;
* Knowledge of the Portuguese and European tech talent market;
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders;
* Fluency in Portuguese and advanced proficiency in English;
* Proactive communication style, relationship-building, and negotiation skills;
* Comfortable using CRM tools and managing sales pipelines.
