If you're comfortable across the full data lifecycle — from pipeline development and data modelling through to reporting and mentoring junior profiles — this is a solid opportunity to own meaningful, end-to-end data work in a collaborative environment. Language: English B2 minimum | Level: Mid–Senior | Location: Lisbon (hybrid, 2 to 3 days/week in office) PROJECT & CONTEXT You'll be working on a data platform built on the Microsoft stack, covering ETL pipelines, analytical data modelling, OLAP development, and business-facing reporting. The environment spans both on-premises infrastructure and cloud components, with a strong emphasis on data quality, governance, and performance. You'll collaborate closely with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, and be expected to support and guide junior team members. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Solid experience with SQL Server — advanced T-SQL, query optimisation, and performance tuning in production environments Hands‐on experience building and maintaining SSIS pipelines (ETL) at scale Experience developing SSAS models — multidimensional cubes and/or tabular models Strong proficiency in Power BI — data modelling, DAX, and dashboard/report development for business stakeholders Experience with dimensional modelling following Kimball methodology and Data Warehouse best practices Ability to design and maintain Data Warehouse and Data Mart architectures Experience with SSRS for structured reporting delivery Ability to ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the data platform Strong collaboration skills — able to work with both technical and business teams to translate requirements into reliable data solutions Comfortable mentoring junior profiles and contributing to team knowledge sharing Autonomous, analytical, and solution‐oriented approach to problem solving English B2 or above for stakeholder communication and documentation Based in Portugal, available for hybrid work in Lisbon 2 to 3 days per week NICE TO HAVE Experience with hybrid environments — on-premises infrastructure combined with cloud services Knowledge of Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse Analytics Experience with CI/CD practices applied to data projects (e.g., Azure DevOps, version‐controlled SSIS/SSAS deployments) Background in Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks and tooling Exposure to modern data stack tooling or lakehouse architectures Compensation: €2,000 – €2,500/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
