About The Role
As a
SQA Global Team Lead
, you will be part of our growing team at Preh Portugal (Trofa), contributing to the development and maintenance of innovative automotive technologies. You'll work in a dynamic, international environment, using the latest tools and platforms to tackle real-world challenges.
The Challenges in Front of You
* Responsible interface manager for technical coordination on group level regarding SQA series supplies activities
* Moderator and interface manager for technical coordination and management of the day-to-day operations of the local SQA-PDP in cooperation with central SQA-PDP
* Attending customer appointments on request with reference to purchased parts management quality
* Responsible for planning and coordinating methods and measures in processing the first central escalation level, including the necessary task forces on gobal level
* Defining, monitoring, roll out as well as improving global processes and procedures of quality standards in supplier quality management
* Planning, organizing and coordinating as well as conducting employee training on supplier quality assurance methods and measures on group level
* Coaching employees on all supplier quality issues and concerns on group level
* Promoting a constructive global SQA team and working atmosphere
* Conducting employee interviews and carrying out performance assessments
What You Bring To The Table
You're more than your resume
— you're passionate for excellence, proactive, and growth-minded. To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
* Completed studies in electrical engineering, electronics, or equivalent qualifications, along with extensive experience in the automotive supply industry.
* Trained and certified VDA-QMC auditor with a minimum of 5 years of experience and global deployment;
* Strong knowledge and experience in automotive production processes and supplier quality management;
* Experience in managing employees and leading international, decentralized teams;
* Fluent in both written and spoken English;
* Excellent communication and coordination skills;
* Systematic, independent and structured way of working;
* Ability to work in a team as well as high resilience and flexibility;
* Willingness to travel.
