Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Global HR Systems to further lead and optimize our HR technology landscape. As a member of the Enterprise Services & Solutions (ESS) HR Services Leadership Team, this individual will drive the strategic direction, governance, and operational excellence of our HR systems, including Workday, ServiceNow, and other HR platforms in the Learning, Total Rewards, Talent Development, Payroll, Time Management and HR Service Delivery verticals. They will collaborate with global HR, IT, and business leaders to enhance our digital HR capabilities, ensure compliance, and improve user experience across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for evolving our global HR Systems & Reporting capabilities which aligns to Organon’s business goals
2. Oversee the design, implementation, evolution and optimization of HR technologies, with a strong emphasis on Workday and ServiceNow
3. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance (including SOX) across all HR systems
4. Lead global HR system enhancements, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives
5. Provide direct leadership to a team of 15-20 FTEs
6. Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to align system capabilities with organizational needs, ensuring that investment decisions support the strategic goals of Organon
7. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements for HR technology solutions
8. Oversee system governance, including process automation, workflow standardization, and user access management
9. Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to the global HR systems team
Qualifications & Experience
1. Proven experience in building and evolving HR technology delivery models, ensuring scalability and efficiency
2. Minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience in HR technology and systems leadership within global companies
3. Strong expertise in Workday and ServiceNow; experience with other HR platforms (i.e. LMS) is a plus
4. Deep understanding of HR processes, data governance, and reporting frameworks
5. Proven track record in leading large-scale HR technology implementations and integrations
6. Ability to navigate a global, matrixed environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
7. Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
8. Pharmaceutical industry experience is valuable but not required
9. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills
10. Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and working across multiple time zones in a global culture
11. Able to travel approximately 25% of the time to global locations
