About the role
The Non-Financial Risks and Risk Governance team is looking for a new colleague in Lisbon to help manage operational risks across the Group.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Non-Financial Risks and Risk Governance and collaborate with colleagues from the first and second lines across multiple locations.

What you'll do
Assist in Operational Risk Assessments, scenario analysis, and other risk analyses (operational risk, operational resilience, fraud, sustainability risk, etc.)
Support the identification, assessment and ongoing monitoring of operational risks across trading, product development and support functions
Investigate Operational Risk Events or near-misses, perform root cause analysis, and help drive remediation via tracking of mitigation measures
Assist in the preparation of presentations, policies updates and reporting in the scope of the Non-Financial Risks & Risk Governance team
Implement risk trainings in the internal platform and follow up on their execution
Assist in preparing board and senior management reporting on operational risks
Support regulatory deliverables and supervisory interactions (e.g. FINMA and EU regulators)
Define, maintain, and update Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance Indicators
What you'll need
Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Behavioural Science, Social / Organizational Psychology or a quantitative field (Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics)
Fast learner with high level of professionalism and tact
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively, both in writing and presentations
Attention to detail, an analytical mindset and, problem-solver attitude
Ability to think critically and challenge when necessary
Showing team player mentality and passion for your work
IT skills: MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
Language skills: Full working proficiency in English
Nice to have
Relevant working experience in non-financial risk /operational risk or in a big four company, financial institution or consultancy firm is a plus
Coding skills (SQL or Python)
Fluency in Portuguese or German
