The role involves leading and developing the site supply chain team using servant leadership principles, promoting a culture of coaching, accountability and alignment with corporate strategy and values.
Responsibilities
1. Lead end-to-end supply chain activities including transportation, warehouse, import/export, distribution and planning with a focus on long-term performance and creative problem-solving.
2. Manage and execute supply chain projects that improve operational processes and systems across the site.
3. Drive standardization and best practice implementation across functions and sites by partnering with corporate and local teams.
4. Promote cross-functional collaboration and team performance management, including recruitment, onboarding, training and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with strategic goals.
5. Define and lead strategic initiatives to address complex supply chain challenges working closely with production, R&D, maintenance and engineering departments.
6. Define, implement and monitor inventory targets, KPIs and metrics ensuring strong governance and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
* 10+ years of supply chain experience within a manufacturing industry ideally in the pharmaceuticals or fine chemicals.
* Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or related field (technical background preferred).
* Proven leadership and coaching capabilities with a track record in developing people and achieving performance targets.
* Deep knowledge of supply chain principles, tools and best practices across Planning & Control, Logistics and Warehouse/Shipping.
* Strong process and time management skills able to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
* Solid understanding of applicable regulations, international trade policies and insurance in a global supply chain context.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with fluency in both Portuguese and English and ability to work in compliance with internal procedures and external standards.
