Mission: Assists in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. Manages the property's reactive and proactive sales efforts and provides day-to-day leadership to sales associates to achieve property sales objectives.
Job Summary
1. Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary, and not duplicative.
2. Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
3. Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
4. Understands the overall market – competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand, etc., and knows how to sell against them.
5. Participates in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
6. Executes and supports the operational aspects of booked business (e.g., generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence).
7. Attends sales strategy meetings to provide input on weekly and overall sales strategy.
8. Suggests innovative marketing ideas and develops deployment strategies to grow market share.
9. Monitors the effective resolution of guest issues arising from the sales process by creating mechanisms to channel issues to property leadership and/or other stakeholders.
10. Maintains successful performance by increasing revenues, controlling expenses, and providing a return on investment for the owner.
11. Implements the brand's service strategy and initiatives in all aspects of the sales process, focusing on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to meet the hotel's sales objectives.

Education/Professional Experience:
* Specialized High School Degree or Bachelor Degree.
* 3-5 years previous experience in the function.
Language Skills:
* Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
